Fossalta di Piave helps the child excluded from the table
A nulla era valso il gesto amorevole some teachers and two school employees who had given up in favor of small-school lunch. Shooting is harshly by the Mayor, Massimo Sensini, and the Dean of the school, Simonetta Murri, risk disciplinary action.
They said some of them:
"The scene of the little girl was crying because it was separated from his friends has devastated the heart. We did not and we have nothing against the administration, we do not do politics! We did what any sensible parent would do.
We do not want medals. We do not want this to become a war on the heads of children. We want and we wanted to, alone, solve a problem that could not be ignored. We requested an interview with the headmaster. We have spoken. And she, again yesterday, he told us he could not do anything. Some of us have chosen to intervene in private. The controversy does not serve anybody. "
The story, reported by Done newspaper, had affected the public crossing the boundaries of the Veneto. A small network of aid had been created immediately, and the kindergarten had been inundated with phone calls and proposals for payment. The sentence given was "If it helps, I'll pay."
The Mayor, joined by journalists, had tried to hide behind bureaucratic rules and loopholes, raising with a cryptic
"The girl is the daughter of a well-known Islamic extremist"
rumors because, as explained by Joseph Dalcin, former city councilor of the Communist Party that has provided her home to the family of the child, the father
"went to Belgium to look for a job fair because he had lost his job. He worked eight years as engineering, I've never seen complaining. When it is finished in layoffs, one day told me I must find a way to feed my family. Fundamentalist Islamic? A Muslim cleric, I'd say. Someone needs to explain the difference to the mayor. "
The child with his mother and four siblings live in the house who had put their Dalcin available for only € 300 for rent, as long as the father worked in Italia.
Innanzi all’infanzia e alle necessità di una bambina, a un basic need like food and compassionate gesture of her teachers, one can not only punish but to support.
