Action: Ready SICI Project - Integrated Municipal Information System (SICI)
Status of implementation: Contract notice published - Deadline for applications January 8. Reopening terms to February 4.
Comment: The system will be computerized in an integrated manner almost all the municipal offices, with immediate consequences for the citizens thanks to the efficiency of administrative processes. For now, the level of computerization is very limited but what is worse is that the different offices often find themselves working on databases that run on completely different platforms, which are not able to "talk" to each other. This provides, for example, very difficult cross-checks to combat tax evasion and avoidance fenomenno council tax (ICI, TARSU).

Procedure: Budget estimates for 2008
Action: Preparation of the key budget EF 2008. Reducing ICI first house from 5.6 to 5.3 per thousand.
Implementation status: Approved come in on January 9, 2008, accompanying measures. Scheduled for January 15, 2008 the junta's approval of the 2008 budget.
Comment: I think they years that the budget was not approved previsone so soon. Typically we arrived about mid-year. I would have liked to do so by December 31, 2007 as required by law, but ... already so it was a big thing that required a major commitment. Approval the budget can be fully operational from the beginning of the year, the municipal administration, avoiding the use on a provisional basis.
