As you may know by now, the decision on the appeal pending before the TAR Campania for the annulment of the elections in 2007, is discussed Thursday, January 17 been postponed until March 27, for investigation.
not for me to go into the question whether the rules have been violated, it is right that the elections be annulled and, perhaps, that any responsible are identified. But it would be appropriate in the interest of the city, decide as soon as possible. Good governance requires, in addition to daily management, planning medium to long term over which you measure the thickness of the government's policy. Under these conditions, the interaction with the local administrative machinery becomes problematic, since any act of a range of time beyond the immediate raises often skeptical.
Ho trascorso la giornata di giovedì con grande serenità, lavorando come al solito, assolutamente indifferente agli esiti di quanto si discuteva al TAR . Con la medesima serenità affronterò il giudizio che verrà. Come assessore, non essendo per nulla incollato alla "poltrona" che occupo, anzi avvertendone forte il peso della responsabilità e il timore di non essere all'altezza delle aspettative della città, l'unico rammarico sarebbe quello di veder vanificato il lavoro avviato con tanto entusiasmo.
Come cittadino invece, confesso che mi dispiacerebbe vedere ancora una volta la mia città privata del diritto di scegliersi i propri amministratori.
